On Sunday 9 March 2025 more than 20,000 people will join the Sea of Pink in support of women with breast cancer, as they walk, jog or run along on one of Brisbane’s most scenic routes.
The International Women’s Day Fun Run presented by Queensland X-Ray sees supporters take to the beautiful streets of Brisbane starting at South Brisbane and enjoying a fun, safe and supportive run, jog, walk (or roll) along the Kangaroo Point cliffs, across the iconic Story Bridge, through Brisbane’s CBD to finish in the lush Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. Celebrate completing your 5km at the Finishers’ Village, where you can kick back and relax with plenty of food, drinks and entertainment for the whole family.

The course takes in landmarks for our services such as the ANZAC Square, Macarthur Chambers, Kemp Place Fire Station, and Queensland Police Headquarters. If you’re up for the 10km, you’ll run over the Story Bridge and the William Jolly Bridge; and if you are doing the 5km, you’ll experience the Goodwill Bridge and the revamped Victoria Bridge.
